Cable Reeling Drum

Cable Reeling Drum is a very important part in crane safe load indicator systems. It is spring-loaded to aid recoiling of single-core steel wire. Internally a potentiometer is attached to the rotating shaft of cable reel drum through appropriate gear systems. The rotation of the cable drum shaft rotates the potentiometer whose output is used to measure the length of crane Boom and Outrigger extention length.

We manufacture cable reeling drums for up to 22-meter, 45-meter, and 65-meter crane boom lengths. Our CRDs are made with LM6-grade aluminum and are thus rust-proof. We provide a powder-coated finish to our CRDs to give them a longer life and aesthetic look. Our cable reeling drums are specially designed, to remove fault-prone slip ring assembly from our CRDs. Our cable reeling drums do not contain any slip rings and are thus more reliable than other similar products that contain slip rings to carry forward the A2B signal to the display unit.
