Warranty Terms

The System is hereby warranted against defects in material and workmanship only.

  • This warranty covers repair or replacement (at IB option) of all components in a system including labour, at IB factory. This does not include freight and forwarding and local transport charges on the returned components, and does not include a service technician’s travel expenses for field repairs.
  • The warranty period would be 12 months from Installation or date of dispatch, whichever is earlier.
  • That the system shall have been used solely for the purpose for which it is designed and manufactured.
  • That our decision on all questions relating to complaints as to defects shall be conclusive. Any defective part, which has been replaced, shall become our property.
  • The system is sold as an aid to proper crane operation. No further claim is made as to installed system accuracy nor will this equipment necessarily prevent crane damage due to overloading and related causes.
  • No other warranty is expressed or implied, nor will IB be responsible for damages or losses incidental to use, installation, or removal of this equipment.
  • This warranty shall cease to apply and become void if:
  • The system has been subjected to misuse; neglect, accident, improper installation, or use in violation of IB instructions, or the system has been repaired or altered by persons not expressly approved by IB.
  • Warranty seal tampered or broken.
  • If the purchaser shall not have paid in full, the invoice for the said system.
  • If the company representatives are denied full and free right of access to said system, where it is fitted. In no event shall IB be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or similar damages

Installation Terms

  • Load Chart: The buyer to provide certified (signed and stamped) load chart as the system is factory programmed with the load chart.
  • Installation time required: At the buyer’s site, maximum one working day, subject to availability of installation aids
  • Installation Engineer: Will be deputed within 48 hours after receipt of material at site..
  • Crane data: Any addition, alteration in system, request for feature addition /alteration after the installation/ dispatch would be treated as a separate work order & would be charged separately. Balance payment, whatever left of the principal order, will not be linked to this additional task.
  • Installation Aids: Buyer would provide Crane in working condition, Crane Operator, Proper Crane Power Supply, Welding arrangement, Test Loads, Riggers, Electricity and other necessary support facilities while commissioning of the system.
  • Delay in Crane Availability for Installation: Purchaser should make available the necessary crane & other installation aids immediately after receipt of seller's call for installation.
  • Any idle day lost due to unavailability of the above will attract idle day charges. If the delay exceeds considerable time & installation team needs to be de-mobilized, then mobilization charges will be applicable.
  • The charges quoted for installation are applicable for site mentioned in this offer only. Charges for installation, at location other than mentioned in this offer, would be quoted separately, on a case-to-case basis.
