Tensiometers

Tensiometers or dynamometers are a very important part of crane-safe load indicators. This device is used to measure tension in the steel wire rope used in the crane hook block. This wire rope tension is then converted to equivalent load by the crane's central processing unit. Additionally, external scaling of the electronic signal is done to improve the accuracy of the measurement. Tensiometers come ina variety of shapes and sizes according to the needs of different types of cranes. Also, tensiometers are either of fixed type configuration or floating type configuration.

Product Info

Innovative Brains offers a wide variety of crane hook load-sensing tensiometers. We manufacture usually seven different types of tensiometers to cover most of the cranes available in the market. We manufacture both the fixed type and floating-type tensiometers. Our tensiometers range starts from 13 inches 16 mm pulley size to 30 inches 34 mm pulley size. All combinations are available in both fixed and floating configurations. All our dynamometer sheaves are made with approved alloy steel and are further surface hardened, annealed, and plated to provide top-quality sheaves. All bearings are of ZZ ratings to provide maximum protection from external environments. The floating arm section of the dynamometer is specially designed to give minimum drag and optimum all-direction travel. This design configuration helps to provide maximum accuracy in load measurement.
