Wind Speed Sensor

Wind speed sensor also called Anemometer is a physical device used to measure wind speed. The wind generated by the airflow drives the top three wind cups to rotate, and the central axis drives the internal sensing element to generate an output signal, which can be used to calculate the wind speed.Anemometer are widely used in weather stations to monitor the wind speed.These are also used in cranes and are fitted on crane boom tops to measure the wind speed.The crane lifting operation is automatically stoped if the wind speed croses the predetermined safe wind speeds leavels.
